As usual, autumn was a busy season at Software Country.
In October, we had a great opportunity to visit Surpass community meeting—the annual event dedicated to the development of the Surpass examination platform. The 2024 conference in Leeds welcomed over 110 delegates from 51 organisations. The delegates learnt about the latest features and shared their knowledge and experience on various topics, such as the use of data analytics, engaging AI, and best practices and methods of assessing different skills.
Software Country has been a technology partner of Surpass for 10+ years, and we are sure that the platform has a great way of successful development ahead. You can watch the session recordings here.
In mid-November, I.C.E. Exchange 2024, organised in Miami by the Institute for Credentialing Excellence, gathered credentialing professionals from many career stages, industries, and roles to share knowledge, answer questions, and build connections.
With a long track record of successful work in e-assessment, e-learning, and psychometric testing projects, we view this conference as a nice opportunity to search for new connections in the industry. There were a lot of inspiring sessions, constructive conversations, and thought-provoking discussions, and we await productive follow-up from some of them.
Finally, the last week of November was marked with the Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB) Annual Conference, Exhibition and Awards, the essential event for professionals in the awarding, assessment, and wider skills sector in Leicester, the UK. It was an engaging and inspiring time, seeing new innovations and developments in the assessment sector and connecting with many passionate professionals in the awarding and assessment sector—both old friends and new faces.
We would like to thank all organizers of the events as well as to everyone bringing their expertise, and energy. We are so happy to be part of such an exceptional community of professionals.
